Please Note

Security Picks
Participants may submit stocks or ETFs. Submitted securities must have a 30-day trailing average daily trading volume of more than $10 million and a market cap of at least $2 billion. For ADRs, the reference security must meet the daily liquidity requirements. You will have the option to keep your short idea private. Ideas are limited to the NYSE and Nasdaq.

Robin Hood will work with a third party to set the borrowing cost for each security based on current market rates. The annualized borrowing rate and calculated hypothetical daily borrowing cost will be static for the entirety of the competition. Short Pick performance will be adjusted for hypothetical borrowing costs. Together, Long Pick and Short Pick total return will determine the Portfolio total return. For the complete Official Rules, see here.

Please Note

If you choose to keep your Short Idea private, the leaderboard will list a sector instead of a specific security.

Donation and Allocation
A $10,000 donation is required for entry. Please take a look at the payment options below.

At the end of the competition, two-thirds of the funds raised will be allocated to Robin Hood.
The remaining one-third will be allocated by Robin Hood as recommended by the winner, who can allocate it to Robin Hood's current initiatives or one of its 200+ community partners for an incremental grant.
